Refund Policy

Effective Date: 1st January 2025

This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which users of the Afterlife mobile application, owned and operated by A.L. Experiences and Solutions Private Limited, may be eligible for refunds. By purchasing and using our services, you agree to the terms stated below.

1. Platform Access and Token System

  • To access Afterlife's services, users are required to pay a one-time platform fee.

  • Upon payment, users receive a specified number of platform tokens.

  • These tokens are consumed when users access services within the app.

2. Non-Refundable Items

  • Platform tokens, once purchased and credited to the user's account, are non-refundable under all circumstances.

  • Any additional token purchases made after initial activation are also non-refundable.

3. Conditional Refund of Platform Fee

  • We offer a conditional refund of the initial one-time platform fee under the following criteria:

  • The refund request must be raised within 10 calendar days of first-time sign-up.

  • The user must initiate an account deletion request from within the app.

  • The refund amount will be adjusted against any tokens consumed or services utilized during the trial period.

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used.

4. Refund Process

  • To request a refund of the platform fee:

  • Delete your account within the app within 10 days of first sign-up.

  • Email a refund request to support@myafterlife.in with your registered mobile number and transaction ID.

  • Our team will evaluate your usage and confirm the refundable amount, if applicable.

  • Refunds, if approved, will be processed within 7–10 business days.

5. Reinstatement After Refund

  • Once a refund is processed, your access to Afterlife will be permanently revoked.

  • You may re-register in the future, but you will be treated as a new user and must pay the platform fee again.

6. No Refunds for Technical Issues

  • Temporary technical issues, bugs, or third-party downtime do not qualify for refunds.

  • Users are encouraged to contact support for resolution of such issues before requesting account deletion.

7. Grievance Redressal Officer

  • In compliance with applicable Indian laws, including the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we have appointed the following Grievance Officer:

  • Users may submit concerns, grievances, or requests regarding data handling, privacy, refunds, or general terms. We will acknowledge all complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 working days from the date of receipt.

By purchasing and using Afterlife, you acknowledge and accept this Refund Policy.
